In the last few years, climate controlled storage spaces have been quickly gaining popularity.  And there are plenty of reasons why climate controlled storage is becoming a favorite choice of consumers.

Most of the things that people are storing these days are sensitive to changing weather conditions. Our climate controlled buildings feature extra wall and ceiling insulation, as well as modern Heating and Cooling systems. Our climate systems maintain a comfortable temperature between sixty and eight degrees.  In addition to controlling humidity, which promotes mildew and unwanted odors, our climate buildings help protect your belongings from dust and pests.

As an added bonus, all of our climate controlled buildings have built-in stereo systems for your listening pleasure. We have also installed electronic access keypads at all of our climate building entrances. You may be asking yourself, what does that mean to me the customer? It means that the only customers that can gain entry into one of our five climate buildings are the customers that actually have a space in one of those buildings. We do this by controlling access to each building separately, which provides another layer of security for you the customer.

So you may be saying that all sounds great, but I am still not sure if I need climate storage. A simple rule of thumb is to ask yourself this question. Would I rather store my belongings in a garage like environment, or in home like environment? If you said in a home like environment, then you need a climate controlled storage space.

Now that spring is here it is time for spring cleaning! Why not de-clutter your home by renting a Self Storage space for all of your extra belongings?  As we live in one place for a long time we tend to collect a lot of stuff. Before you know it your closet is packed from the floor to the ceiling, and the garage is so full that you can no longer even park your vehicles inside. If you are looking to clean out your home, then we can help! Rent one of our Storage Spaces and you will be able to keep your home de-cluttered and clean without having to part with any of your belongings. If you have never used Self Storage before, then please read further.   

If you are just trying to clean out a closet then you probably will want to rent a smaller space such as a 5' x 5' (25 sq ft), which is the size of a small closet. Plus as a added bonus, all of our spaces feature 9' ceilings. And in some spaces the ceiling is as tall as 11'. With the tall ceilings our spaces feature, you can stack quite a bit of stuff in your unit.  

If you know that you are going to be storing furniture, then you will be looking to rent a larger space, most likely a 5' x 10' (50 sq ft) which can accommodate roughly one room of furniture. For the most part, our spaces increase in size in 25 sq ft increments. For instance a 5' x 10' would be great if you wanted to clear out a guest bedroom.    

If you are going to be storing an entire one bedroom apartment, or maybe some four wheelers,  then you will want to look for an even bigger size. Typically speaking, you are not going to need anything bigger than a 10' x 10' (100 sq ft) unless of course you have a lot of bulky furniture and appliances. This is one of our more popular sizes so remember to plan in advance. If you wait until the last minute to rent your Storage space you may find that the size you really want is not available. Plan ahead.

If you are going to be storing a vehicle or boat, then you will need a 10' x 20' (200 sq ft). This is the same size as a one car garage. This size will also accommodate the contents of a two bedroom home, meaning that you can cram a large amount of furniture into it if you want.

We have been very busy over the past year making many Capital improvements to our Storage Facility. We started by adding 20,000 square feet of new storage space. Building "G", which is our newest Climate Controlled storage building,  joined our other buildings "A" through "F" in March. We also added 7,000 square feet onto our existing Building "B". That addition includes some of the largest Storage Spaces available in Central Arkansas. These new units feature 11 foot tall ceilings with 10 foot wide doors, which makes backing a trailer into one of these units much easier. We also had our driveways seal coated and re-stripped to keep them looking fresh. We added new landscaping, and placed an order for a new modern L.E.D. sign to be constructed on Cantrell Road/Hwy. 10. The new sign should debut in May. (More on that later)  New furniture was purchased for our Showroom, and we added a new fresh brewed Starbucks coffee machine, which we invite all of our customers to stop by the office and enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee, tea, or cocoa anytime that you would like. We are also currently resealing all of the hallway floors in our Climate Buildings to insure that they stay looking fresh and new for our customers. And if you are reading this Blog, then you are already enjoying our new and improved Website.
